  1. Tell your senator “NO” to Betsy DeVos  http://networkforpubliceducation.org/2016/11/tell-your-senator-to-vote-no-for-betsy-devos/

  1. As you may have heard, the Clinton campaign has chosen to participate in the recount process!  If you’ve not already done so, please consider helping to fund the Presidential election recount in WI, PA, and MI.  Jill Stein of the Green Party is spearheading this effort in the name of election integrity following some concerns over voting irregularities.  The WI recount request has been received by the WI Elections Committee.  The PA deadline is Monday and is funded, leaving only MI where the deadline is Wednesday. Whichever party requests the recount is responsible for the costs which are outlined on this page as well:  https://jillstein.nationbuilder.com/recount

  1. Another petition to defeat Betsy DeVos    http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/defend-public-education.fb47?source=s.icn.fb&r_by=7019866

  1. Chairman Archambault of the Standing Rock Sioux received a notice that the camp the water protectors have occupied will be shut down effective 12/5 and that anyone remaining will do so 'at their own risk'. The letter was signed by John W. Henderson, Colonel, Corp. of Engineers. Please call him (John Henderson (402. 995.2229 ext 2001)) and urge him to rethink his decision. Be polite, but be passionate.
