  1. Let your senators know that you support this bipartisan inquiry into the botched military action in Yemen.  A bipartisan group of four senators is demanding a briefing on the U.S. military’s objectives in Yemen, as new details emerge about a Navy SEAL raid that left one U.S. service member and a number of civilians dead. Something went very wrong.

  1. Call your House representative and ask them to support a full investigation into Russia's involvement in the election by supporting House Concurrent Resolution 15.

  1. Call your senator and ask them to support Senate Bill 27: "A bill to establish an independent commission to examine and report on the facts regarding the extent of Russian official and unofficial cyber operations and other attempts to interfere in the 2016 United States national election, and for other purposes."

Other Contacts to Make

  1. New England Patriots' running back, LeGarrette Blount and defensive tackle, Alan Branch announced that they are joining Martellus Bennett, Devin McCourty, Dont'a Hightower, and Chris Long in boycotting Trump's White House after their SuperBowl win.  Let’s send a shoutout to those who will not be visiting following their Super Bowl win. They are bound to receive some heat from fans and those who believe that celebrities and athletes are not allowed to voice political opinions.  Comment on their FB page: and sign this card applauding them for standing up for justice and equity:

  1. Let America Vote, a few anti-voter suppression group, is lead by Jason Kander, an American lawyer and politician, and former Secretary of State of Missouri. Over the past decade, momentum has gone dangerously in the wrong direction. LAV will work to fight back against proposals across the country that make it harder for eligible voters to exercise their constitutional right to cast a ballot. Whether it’s extreme identification requirements, questionable purges of voter rolls, voter intimidation, new and extreme voter registration processes, or anything that makes voting harder, Let America Vote will be there to lead the way against it.  Sign up here to get updates:

  1. Federal agents conduct sweeping immigration enforcement raids in at least six states:  From America’s VoiceThis weekend is your moment to stand with immigrants across the nation and stop the next raids before they happen. People’s resistance is already chipping away at Trump’s racist agenda, starting with blocking the Muslim ban. Join us in showing ICE that we are ready to resist. Plan or attend an action at an immigration detention center or ICE field office near you. Or hold a rally at your local government office demanding they protect immigrants in your community. With these talking points:

  1. Please join Linda Sarsour, one the principles in the Women’s March, and add your name to the Amicus Curiae Brief being filed in a federal court against the immigration ban:

Petitions to Sign

  1. 350 Action is asking that we add your name to the endorsement of Rep. Ellison for DNC Chair before the delivery this weekend.  Here’s where to go to co-endorse with them:  "350 Action has never endorsed a candidate for DNC Chair before, but we think that this extraordinary moment requires it. Rep. Ellison has also been endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders and civil rights hero Rep. John Lewis, as well as Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Chairman Dave Archambault the chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party, Keystone XL fighter Jane Kleeb." For more info:

  1. GOP Congressman Paul Gosar introduced a bill (H.J. Res. 46) that would eliminate regulations on oil and gas drilling on our public lands. If his vision becomes reality, oil and gas companies would be able to build roads through public forests to reach drilling sites. They would not need to have detailed safety plans about their operations nor would they be responsible for a leak or spill. And, of course, the National Park Service wouldn't be involved. Sign here to tell Congress to save our national parks:
