While the rest of the world is seriously addressing climate change, the Republicans are going backwards and eliminating protections that were set to serve us well.  While some of this will be done by an executive order, our legislators need to know that we do not think that these moves will serve us, our children, or our grandchildren well in the long run.  Call them.

  1. Sen. Warren and Rep. Clark introduced the Presidential Conflict of Interest Act of 2017 to the Senate and House in early January. Since then, the bills have stalled in their respective committees (although the House Bill does have over 100 cosponsors now.) These bills would require the president and vice president to divest funds that pose a conflict of interest, and would also require them to submit their tax returns to Congress and the Office of Government Ethics. We've got some work to do to make sure these bills proceed.
