SPECIAL EDITION

Perhaps he thought we wouldn’t be paying attention the day after the election, but yesterday, Trump orchestrated the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and replaced him with Matthew G. Whitaker, Sessions’ Chief of Staff.  It is no secret that Trump has not been happy with the Muller investigation and did not appreciate Sessions recusing himself from the Russia investigation early on.  Perhaps now, with Whitaker, Trump feels he may be able to stop or interfere with Mueller.  https://www.npr.org/2018/11/07/539109386/jeff-sessions-out-as-attorney-general-after-steady-drumbeat-of-criticism-from-tr
